This past April, I was lucky enough to participate in the Building Future Faculty program hosted by the Office for Faculty Excellence at NC State University! It was an incredible opportunity to meet a group of talented and driven colleagues across disciplines, get to meet some of the faculty within the College of Natural Resources, and learn about the application, interview, negotiation, and tenure process for faculty at an R1 University. I am very grateful to have had the chance to participate and have already had the chance to catch-up with some of the people I met during the program! I would highly recommend it for anyone considering a faculty position.
